Homicide investigation in the Wantagh

Last night around 12:15am, the NCPD reported a male was found laying on the road with bullets.

This is on Wayside Lane in Wantagh.

The medical examiner transported the body for autopsy.

ESU continues to work on the scene for evidence search.

Further investigation confirmed this is a body of a male, 32 living on Long Island. The victim's family has been notified.

Additional details were not provided on the suspect information.

The investigation continues.
