Homicide investigation in the Elmhurst

The FDNY reported a fire at a location in Elmhurst. This is on 75th Street at the location by 22nd Avenue.

The fire marshal stated one person was found dead inside one of the apartments where the fire occurred. The NYPD has forwarded to the detective bureau for investigation after confirming this is an arson.

The medical examiner is working to transport the body to conduct an autopsy.
