Homicide investigation in Mineola

Police reported a woman was found unresponsive at an apartment in Mineola. This is at 140 Old Country Road. Police went to check for wellness check on a woman and found dead on Saturday morning. The ESU confirmed no shots were fired and didn’t disclose how the woman was found with gunshot wound inside.

Neighbors called 911 after two people were arguing inside the apartment under domestic violence.
