Hit and run with one dead on Northern Blvd in Flushing

The NYPD reported a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Northern Blvd and later died. This is by Parsons Blvd in Flushing.

The incident was reported on Friday night around 9:30pm.

The victim, a 78 year old female, was crossing the street when an SUV struck and took off toward the westbound Northern Blvd.

Highway CIS conducted the investigation at the intersection.

So far no arrests.
