Hit and run on CIP northbound

Police reported two vehicles racing on the Cross Island Parkway southbound resulted two separate multiple vehicle accidents. The first is on Hempstead Avenue Exit and the second on Linden Blvd Exit. Both vehicles took off toward Belt Parkway. More than 10 vehicles are involved in the accident with multiple injuries. Ongoing investigation.
