Hints are flying around NYC mayor s office

The latest info from a reliable source confirmed of Mayor di Blasio wanting to close Rikers to build small buildings around five boroughs has additional attachments. One major plan is also to jail homeless people which will cost the city an average of $30,000 per year compared to Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher at $18,000 per year. The plan is not to criminalize homeless population but making the arrangement in one location for jail, shelter, od crisis center, counseling, job placement and more. The mayor's office stated due to all activities in the planning stages, its similar to having public schools in assigned locations.
