High school teacher arrested in Queens Village

The NYPD arrested Brian Greenspan at the local high school in Martin Van Buren on April 11 last week around 1:30pm and charged with forcible touching, sexual abuse and endangering the wealfare of a child. The incident occurred earlier this year after the student, female, 15, told a friend who then came forward to the principal.

The principal contacted law enforcement.

The victim from the friend disclosed Greenspan approached and told to sit down. Then allegedly touched the victim inappropriately.

Greenspan is a teacher at the local high school and students along with faculty were surprised by the incident.

The Queens District Attorney is continuing with the investigation along with the NYPD’s Special Victims Crime division.
