High school students in the Bronx landed in the hospital after accident in the chemistry lab

Several high school students, all girls were taken to hospitals after accident in the chemistry lab. It happened on Wednesday, November 23 around 8:30am at St Catherine Academy in Allerton, Bronx. So far reported four students were taken to hospital and they are in stable condition. Officials reported no hazardous materials were found. All the parents were notified. The cause maybe from the flame of bunsen burner but not confirmed. The cause of incident is still under investigation.
