Heavy police activity in Elmont

Police closed off Hempstead Turnpike by the Home Depot in Elmont reporting robbery incident.

Two suspects were inside the store, Marshals involving a robbery. Customers inside the store stopped the suspects resulting injuries. EMS reported multiple civilian injuries inside the store.

The NCPD is on the scene.

The store is closed for the day.

One of the suspect's accompice took off in a vehicle resulting accident on Hempstead Turnpike leading to close in both directions by the store entrance near the car wash. It's a mess all around.
