Heavy fire at the home in Richmond Hill

FDNY reported heavy fire at a home on 127th Street. This is by 89th Avenue. The fire started around 9am and was brought under control around 10am.

Police stated squatters were living inside and ESU removed lithium ion battery powered bikes from inside the home.

All are evacuated from the home.

EMS is checking for injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
