Heavy fire at home in Elmont

Firefighters are reporting heavy fire at a home in Elmont. This is on Froelich Place near Elmont Road at location 491.

EMS is checking for injuries.

The fire started in the basement of the home now extended to the first floor.

Firefighters are working on the scene.
