Armed robberies continue to spike in downtown Flushing

More armed robberies reported in downtown Flushing as of this week. The latest incidents are on Prince Street near 33rd Avenue around 2am where a victim was robbed by four suspects, males, blacks, who took off in a Mercedes. The same night on July 24, a victim was robbed at gunpoint on Roosevelt Avenue and College Point Blvd. Three suspects, males, took off on foot.

The NYPD released surveillance pictures of two suspects wanted for knocking a female victim to the ground and then remove all the belongings on Franklin Avenue between Main Street and Kissena Blvd on July 9 around 10pm.

As of this week, Flushing reported the most armed robberies in Queens while Jamaica with the most incidents involving weapons.

All incidents are under investigation.
