Heavy fire at a townhouse in Douglaston

FDNY reported a 2nd alarm at a townhouse in Douglaston. The fire started around 2:30pm this afternoon at Oak Park Drive next to the DSNY and Douglaston Parkway before Winchester Blvd.

The fire was brought under control by 3pm.

EMS reported injuries.

Firefighters continue to work on the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
