Heavy fire at a commercial location in Flushing

The FDNY reported heavy fire at the local junkyard area in Flushing. This is on 36th Avenue across CitiField.

The fire extended to auto shops.

EMS reported injuries.

The fire also extended to brush in the area.

Heavy delays on Northern Blvd, Roosevelt Avenue and its vicinity.

More firefighters are enroute as the fire is spreading to 3rd alarm.
