Heavy delays on the Brooklyn Bridge due to jumper down

The NYPD reported a jumper down on the Brooklyn Bridge. Calls came in around 3pm when drivers and walkers on the bridge alerted a male standing on the ledge standing.

Several witnesses told the police they saw a male jumping into the water.

ESU is working on the scene searching for the person.

Delays on the bridge due to emergency vehicles.

Ongoing investigation.
