Heavy delays for 7 trains in both directions due to police activity

On Friday, August 4 around 10:30am, police reported an Asian Indian male sexually attacked an off duty female cop inside 7 train heading to Manhattan from Jackson Heights. The perp was wearing sweatpants and then rubbed around the victim's butt pressing her around. As soon as the train stopped at 40th Street in Sunnyside, the perp took after the cop chased but lost in the crowd. Police described the perp as 5'7", 190lbs wearing blue sweatpants but carried his shirt without wearing it. Ongoing investigation. Update - Police arrested Fnu Kamruzzaman, 27 of Elmhurst and charged with forcible touching and sexual abuse on Saturday. This is his third arrest for the same crimes.
