The NYPD reported the recidivists team of male and female perps driving around residential areas mainly Queens targeting seniors wearing jewelry scamming with fake ones. The same play by showing fake jewelry and then try on by removing the original one has slew of 911 calls. The latest incident was reported this afternoon around 1:30pm on Wexford Terrace near Hillside Avenue where a senior female victim was robbed. Police are in the area searching for the suspects who are male and female of Romanian ethnicity.

This is a nationwide organized robbery crew the FBI is also working on the incidents.

Have a talk with seniors of the jewelry scam. When approached, call 911 and yell POLICE HELP.

One state, Florida, cleaned up the crime committed by the national organization after conviction was not overturned for out of state crimes from the arrest warrants.
