Hartwick man arrested for burglary

On November 12, 2025, New York State Police at Richfield Springs arrested Todd Edward Seamon, age 43 of Hartwick, NY for the class “B” felony of Burglary in the first degree.

Just after 9:00 p.m., Troopers were dispatched to a report of a burglary on State Route 28 in the village of Schuyler Lake where a victim was assaulted.

An investigation revealed that after an on-going dispute, Seamon forced entry into a 77-year-olds home and struck the victim multiple times causing injuries.  The victim was transported to Bassett Hospital with what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.
