Group grand larceny investigation in New Hyde Park

The NCPD is at the local Stop and Shop reporting a grand larceny involving merchandise from the New Hyde Park store.

A worker stated multiple suspects in a group removed items from shelves and ran out toward westbound Hillside Avenue.

The suspects, males, took on foot and a witness waiting on the bus stop stated it was a large group running fast.

Several workers stated every morning the same suspects on random basis would run out with small stuffs.

There were no injuries to workers or customers.

Ongoing investigation.
