Gathering today for the late DSNY worker in Douglaston

This evening around 7pm, there will be a remembrance gathering in Douglaston where an on duty sanitation worker died.

This is on Winchester Blvd and the Grand Central Parkway exit ramp near the Alley Pond Park and Creedmoor.

According to the NYPD investigation, Richard Errico, 54, was on duty around 6pm last Saturday when tragedy struck and later died on the scene.

This is near the Sanitation Department's Queens East Garage in Douglaston. The candle light vigil is open to the public.
