From Queens to Florida as the first woman manager of a professional baseball team

Kim Ng, a native of Fresh Meadows was hired as the General Manager of the Florida Marlins. She is the first woman to lead such a title for a professional baseball team and hopefully more to follow. After college, she started working for the Chicago White Sox. She was later hired as Assistant General Manager to Yankees Brian Cashman in 1998 and got World Series rings. Then she became the VP and Assistant General Manager to the LA Dodgers.
