Free pet food for struggling New Yorkers

ASPCA and Food Bank for New York City has teamed up to provide free pet food for struggling residents in NYC.

After many residents dumped their pets at the shelter due to unable to provide food, the announcement was confirmed by ASPCA. There are more than 250 locations in NYC one can visit to pick up food.

The program was launched in 2018 with funding from an anonymous donor ASPCA wouldn't disclose. At the same time, ASPCA offers free and low cost services related to medical for pets.
