Flushing man claim to be a victim of robbery

The NYPD is investigating a kidnapping incident that occurred in Flushing on July 8 where a man was missing until dropped off Friday night in the same vicinity.

Detectives are working on a case after the man was allegedly kidnapped in Flushing in the vicinity of Union Street and 31st Road on July 8 by six suspects. This is where he was dropped off after going to Long Island with friends for dinner and one of the suspects tased him. Then carrying him to an unknown location where they demanded ransom. The man gave $6,000 from a crypto account wired and was released.

The man was not injured.

The investigation continues.
