Flushing LIRR station to get elevators and new ticket office

The LIRR station on Main Street and Kissena Blvd in Flushing will have elevators as part of the $25 million dollar budget. It is expected to be completed in 2018. Construction will resume next week. A new ticket office is also being constructed along with new lighting, improvements to infrastructure all around.
