Floral Park resident arrested for hit and run

Shahida Islam, 68, was going west on Jericho Turnpike struck a 24 year old male next to Twin Peaks Fitness Center located at 15 Jericho Turnpike. The alleged hit and run occurred Thursday evening around 6pm. Islam did not know until she was arrested inside the gym where she was a member.
