Five more days to Fort Totten celebration in Bayside

Bayside Historical Society is hosting the 8th Annual Independence Day Celebration on Wednesday, June 18th, with a free concert and fireworks display by Grucci in Fort Totten Park. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics for an evening of community fun! Admittance to the park will begin at 5pm for all.

6pm to 9pm will have musical performances, Chicken Head Rocks

Phil Costa and The Something Special Band.

Then at 9:15pm, fireworks will continue to close the event.

Parking will be available at the Little Bay Parking Lot, underneath the Throgs Neck Bridge, along Bell Boulevard west of Fort Totten, and along Utopia Parkway.

Also, off-site parking with shuttle bus access is available by the golf course at 5pm.

The event is open to the public.
