Fire damaged a home in Elmont

Firefighters reported fire at a home in Elmont. This is on Hoffman Avenue near 3rd Street at the location 150 in Nassau County.

This is near the Cross Island Parkway.

The fire started around 2pm and was brought under control by 2:30pm by firefighters.

EMS transported the injured to local hospitals.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
