Firefighters reported fire at 831 Broadway in Amityville that started around 10:30am in the abandoned Sayonara Motor Inn. 

It took firefighters around 4pm to bring the fire under control. Now police are investigating for possible arson. 

The location is on Route 110 in the vicinity of Brefni Street and Southern State Parkway.
