Fire at a Westbury home with one dead

The Nassau County firefighters are reporting a house fire in Westbury with one dead. This is on Arlington Street near Old Country Road.

EMS transported all the injured to local hospitals.

As of now local residents are advised to keep the windows closed due to heavy smoke in the area.

Firefighters are working on the scene.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
