Fewer residents can tell the difference of weed smell

The first bust of growing marijuana came from 77-12 269th Street in 2007 when an NYPD patrolman noticed the smell. More than 300 plants were seized and three people were arrested. They were tenants and the landlord, Sukhdeep Singh could not tell the difference so he ignored and collected the rent as usual.
