Fatal accident on LIE westbound

Police have closed all lanes of the westbound Long Island Expressway reporting one dead after fatal accident. This is after Queens Blvd exit. The incident happened around 5:30am. Ongoing investigation.

Update - The male was crossing LIE when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver did not stop.
