FDNY already busy this year with more fires in the area

The latest heavy fire reported in Queens is in Flushing. This is on 40th Road at the location, 135-31 which is now a second alarm at the commercial stores. The next one is in Elmhurst at 52nd Avenue by 90th Street inside a three story home with multiple injuries at unit 01.

The major for the weekend was in Ridgewood. On Saturday morning, a fire broke out at a three story commercial and residential building on the second and third floor around 4am. EMS reported multiple injuries after the fire was brought under control by 9am.

The commercial location, a tire shop had no injuries but the fire marshal says more than 60 people were displaced and the Red Cross is working on the shelter convenience for all.
