Explosion on the SSP westbound

Police closed off the Southern State Parkway at Bellmore Road. This is in North Bellmore. Reported an unauthorized truck carrying gas hit the underpass bridge causing explosion. Firefighters are working on the scene. EMS is checking for injuries. Heavy delays all around. Ongoing investigation.
