Emergency arrivals at Stony Brook University Hospital

The SCPD reported over ten students were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital after an initial OD crisis scenario at the local school on Long Island.

The incident was reported this morning around 10am at the local middle school in Moriches, Suffolk County.

Parents all reached out to the hospital where police are also there.

The school has not released information on the incident and how it started.

The SCPD say they found gummies inside the school coated with marijuana but didn't confirm if that's the cause. All the students are between 13 and 14 years old.

The investigation continues.
