Ellenburg depot male arrested for CPCS 7th criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs 1st

On February 19, 2025, State Police arrested Andrew M. Warren, age 36, from Ellenburg Depot, NY. He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree, and operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs in the first degree.

At approximately 8:45 p.m. on February 19, 2025, State Police were patrolling Route 22 in Plattsburgh when they observed a gray 2009 Chevrolet violating a traffic law. The troopers initiated a traffic stop and interviewed the driver, later identified as Warren. During the interview, Warren exhibited signs of impairment. The troopers administered Standard Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs), which Warren failed. He was then arrested and transported to the State Police station in Plattsburgh for processing. Warren was released on appearance tickets, which are returnable to the Town of Plattsburgh Court at a later date.
