Private schools in NYC will allow students to skid a day after the election to deal with emotions.

Public schools in NYC are off and voter booths are open from 6am to 9pm.

Courts in both city and state along with government offices are closed. However, public libraries will remain open to learn something by reading.

Post offices and federal offices are open along with DMV.

Also, workers in NY can get 2 hours or more paid time off to vote.
