Early morning fire in Richmond Hill reported with injuries

FDNY reported a fire at a local commercial store in Richmond Hill. This is on Jamaica Avenue and 102nd Street. The fire marshal reported this is a two story building with the first floor showing e-bikes and scooters resulting in heavy fire. The firefighters used an extinguisher to each bike and then removed them from the location. The fire started around 2:30am and was brought under control by 3:30am. Two firefighters were taken to hospitals with injuries. FDNY reported this is the second fire at the same location.

The investigation continues.
