Early morning fire at a home in Floral Park

FDNY reported fire at 78-06 269 Street. This is a private dwelling in Floral Park. The fire started around 4:30am in the basement and extended to the first floor. EMS reported injuries.

Firefighters are working on the scene to investigate what caused the fire.
