EDP barricaded with family and a dog in Elmont

The NCPD closed off Jacob Street between Estelle Avenue and Johnson Avenue in Elmont reporting a male is barricaded inside with family and a dog. The hostage negotiator is on the scene working. ESU is standing by along with EMS. Reported there are 2 women and 2 men inside the home. Ongoing investigation.
