Dunkirk man arrested for sex crimes against children

On June 5, 2026, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation stationed at SP Fredonia arrested Terry M. Reynolds, 38 of Dunkirk, NY for Predatory Sexual Assault against a Child (A-II Felony) and Rape 1st (B Felony), Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (D Felony), Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child (E Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Fredonia with the assistance from the Troop A Computer Crimes Unit, conducted an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation in the city of Dunkirk.  Investigation determined Reynolds possessed child pornography and was disseminating child pornography. Additionally, the investigation determined that live victims associated with the pornographic material. The victims were located and deposed. During the arrest and search, Reynolds possessed methamphetamine.

Reynolds was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for Central Arraignment.

This is still an active investigation.
