Drunk driving New York City cop arrested in Queens after crash

An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested and charged Friday night in Queens after allegedly driving while intoxicated and fleeing the scene of a crash that caused property damage, according to the department.

Latifah Fitzalbert, 28, assigned to the 116th Precinct, was taken into custody and faces multiple charges including driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, driving while ability impaired, and refusal to take a breath test.
