Driver busted after crash toward a popular salon in NHP

The NCPD is on Jericho Turnpike in New Hyde Park reporting a driver in custody after slamming toward a popular salon. The incident was reported around 1am.

EMS reported no injuries.

The driver has been charged with DWI and is in custody pending arraignment on Friday.

The second floor tenant has been evacuated.

The owners of the salon has been notified of the incident and vowed to rebuild the location.

They are well known business in the community for almost 30 years with a large satisfied customer base.

The owners Elena and Lisa are working to find a temporary location until the salon named Touch Of Class is completed after undergoing renovations from the unfortunate incident.
