Downtown Jamaica is splitting city services to other locations

The location, 144-06 94th Avenue has discontinued one major service provided by the city for civilians and its oath hearing which is disputing a violation by pleading not guilty. The new location is 31-00 47th Avenue in Long Island City. The name of building is Falchi Building. Several reports inside the Jamaica location stated the city is planning to sell the building to make way for residential zoning to promote tourism. Already several hi-rise buildings are under development around the AirTran JFK connecting LIRR, subways, buses and other transportation. The venue of Long Island City has also added city offices from TL&C to DSNY.
