Domestic violence turned into stabbing in New Hyde Park

Police were called to a home in New Hyde Park reporting a family member allegedly stabbed the parents after a domestic dispute.

The incident was reported on Cherrywood Drive on Saturday around 11am in Nassau County.

Further investigation reported the parents, male, 60 and female, 63 ran out of the home and the son followed outside when neighbors called 911. Police apprehended the perp son and charged with slew of charges from attempted murder to assault.

EMS transported the parents to local hospitals.

The investigation continues.
