Democratic primary debate announced for NYC Mayor

Save the date. June 4 is the first event for the Democratic mayoral debate for the primary and will be hosted by NBC 4 in partnership with Telemundo and Politico.

For this event, the front runner Cuomo will appear along with Mamdani, NYC Council Speaker Adams, Comptroller Lander, Stringer, Ramos, Myrie, Blake and Tilson.

The current NYC Mayor will meet the winner of the Democratic primary. The winner of the Republican will also join the Mayor for the debate which is the first time a Democratic, an Independent and a Republican joins together.

What is even more interesting is Cuomo picked up most of Eric Adam's last voters that gave the latter the victory. Cuomo is now leading at 45% despite not getting matching funds.

Cuomo has two major backings, the unions and real estate developers and both control NYC.
