Decision will be announced today

The UFT will decide today whether to strike or not after NYC mayor finish up the press brief which is happening now. So far the mayor stated, 1,321 schools were inspected for ventilation systems, 324,000 ipads given to students and 247 outdoor locations approved. By today, all inspection will be complete. The mayor is standing firm on school opening on September 10.
Also, there will be a protest in Jackson Heights organized by JC on "Speak out against unsafe schools re-opening at 6pm on Broadway and 73rd Street.
