Deceased body found in Montauk NY

On June 11, 2026, at approximately 1:42 p.m., the New York State Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to Montauk Point East Overlook, Camp Hero State Park, Montauk New York for reports of a deceased body.

Upon arrival, Investigators located a deceased body later identified as Lauren Balik age 35 of New York City. This investigation is still ongoing.
