Dead body investigation at a home in Ridgewood

The NYPD reported a body of a woman was located inside a home in Ridgewood. The incident was reported last night around 10:30pm after a call came in from 911. This is in the vicinity of Hancock Street. The medical examiner transported the body of a female, 48 to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Detectives are working on the case for any foul play involved as there was no trauma found on the victim.

The investigation continues.
