Dead body investigation at Flushing Bay

The NYPD reported a dead body was found floating this afternoon in Flushing Bay next to the local LaGuardia Airport. ESU removed the body and the medical examiner transported to conduct an autopsy. There were no delays to traffic in the area.

Detectives are working on the scene.

The investigation continues.
