Dead body found in Wantagh

The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Homicide on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 12:13 a.m. in Wantagh.

According to detectives, officers responded to Wayside Lane for an aided. Upon arrival, officers located a person on the side of the road that had sustained a gunshot wound. The individual was pronounced at scene. The investigation is ongoing.
